Community Block Party Volunteer Page

Thank you for volunteering at the Community Block Party.

We still have open slots, so if you have not volunteered yet, it is not too late. Below is a description of duties for that volunteer position.

We will start setting up at 11:00 am and are in need of help with setting up the stage for the Worship Team.

We ask that all FCC people park in the back parking lot of First Pentecostal Church to allow parking for our guests. A shuttle will be running all day to bring you back and forth to the church. Directions are on the also on the linked page.

We pray that through this effort we reach people close to the church that have no church family or relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We ask that you will join us in prayer and in person.

  • Bathroom Attendant: This volunteer will be in the main hallway of the church directing our visitors to the bathrooms as needed.
  • Trash: We will have multiple cans setup for trash, so as they become full we need volunteers to empty and replace bags as needed
  • Shuttle driver: To have open parking for our guests FCC volunteers will park around the corner at First United Pentecostal Church and we will run a shuttle back and forth from there to First Christian Church
  • Cook: This volunteer will be grilling hamburgers and hot dogs for the event
  • Prep: This volunteer will be putting the hamburgers and hot dogs together and wrapping them up for distribution to our guests
  • Distribution: This volunteer will be handing out the burgers, hot dogs and chips to our guests
  • Drinks: This volunteer will be handing out drinks to guests
  • Slides/Obstacle Course: For each of the Slides/Obstacle Course we will need attendants to be there to assist our guests, if needed.
